Our school began the process towards a Catholic Schools Partnership at a training day in October 2013. The following were the subsequent steps undertaken:
13 November 2013: The Chairperson, the Parish Priest and the Principal (Facilitator) met to complete the document which detailed key characteristics of a Catholic school.
22nd November 2013: The contents of the document were discussed as part of our Staff Meeting.
26th November 2013: The contents of the document were discussed as part of our Board of Management Meeting.
27th January 2014: Pupils in 6th class were consulted and involved in noting suggestions to the document.
16th February 2014: The Chairperson, the Parish Priest and the Principal (Facilitator) met to review the document in light of the various converstaions which had taken place.
19th March 2014: At the scheduled Board of Management meeting, the process was brought to a close. The Board approved the docoment and it was published to the school website.
