Today (27th February 2019), Mrs O Donoghue and Mr Fleming and the Green School committee announced the winners of the recent poster competition.
Here is a photo of the group with their posters and prizes.
We went to Enrich, a composting and recycling site.
It had a wood of ash trees, and we also looked at how the wildlife lives in there.
Then we went to Brazil (In a polytunnel 60*C!) with plants and coconut in it.
We looked at the chain of the sun connected to the soil.

We did some more digging recently. The senior classes did a “double dig” of some of the beds while the younger classes did some weeding.
We had a day of action on 15/11/13.
All classes planted bulbs for the new year.

After a good summer, we did our annual clean up. Here are some photos of proud gardeners.
